1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, designation expression methods, classification and code, dimension, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of continuously electrolytically zinc/zinc-nickel alloy coated steel sheet and strip.
This standard is applicable to electrolytically zinc/zinc-nickel alloy coated steel sheet and strip used in automobile, household appliances, electronics and other industries (hereinafter referred to as steel sheet and strip).

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
electrolytic zinc coating; ZE
coating composed of electrolytic zinc produced by an electroplating process in a continuous zinc electroplating production line, which excludes any trace elements harmful to the adhesive force or coating property
3.2
electrolytic zinc-nickel coating; ZN
coating composed of zinc-nickel alloy produced by an electroplating process in a continuous zinc electroplating production line, which contains about 8% ~ 15% of nickel and the rest is zinc
3.3
anti-fingerprint treatment
treatment for surface of steel sheet and strip which is passivated by electrolysis and coated with anti-fingerprint film to improve the stain resistance of electronic or electrical products.
