1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for specific resistance of man-made staple fibers.
This standard is applicable to man-made staple fibers.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 3291.1, GB/T 3291.3, GB/T 4146.1 and GB/T 4146.3 as well as the following apply.

volume resistance of fibers in a certain volume, calculated based on fiber density
4 Principle
According to the equation of volume resistance, , the resistance of fibers with a certain density in a certain geometry is measured, and then it is converted into specific resistance according to the packing density of fibers.
