1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, ordering requirements, marking and quality certificate of such pressure carbon steel forgings as general purpose industrial valves, flanges and pipe fittings.
This standard is applicable to such preesure carbon steel forgings (hereinafter referred as "forgings") as general purpose industrial valves, flanges and pipe fittings. And it also may be taken as reference for the nonpressure forgings.
