Copper strip and foil for cables
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, as well as accompanying documents and order contents of copper strip and foil for cables.
This document is applicable to the manufacture of copper strip and foil for cable products (hereinafter referred to as "copper strip and foil") .

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

4 Classification and marking
4.1 Product classification
The designation, code, state and specification of copper strip and foil shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1. Other designations, states, and specifications of copper strip and foil may also be supplied through negotiation between the supplier and purchaser. The length of the product is agreed upon by the supplier and purchaser.
