1 Scope
This standard specifies the conditions, items, requirements and rules of installation acceptance of electric lift.
This code is applicable to the electric drive traction type passenger lift and freight lift with rated speed not greater than 6.0m/s and electrical driven positive drive passenger lift and freight lift with rated speed not greater than 0.63m/s. For the electric drive traction type passenger lift and freight lift with rated speed greater than 6.0m/s, this code may be referenced and the not applicable part may be determined through negotiation between the manufacturer and the client. As for the special purpose electric lift, such as fire lift and electric lift used for disabled personnel, the acceptance contents shall be adjusted according to the corresponding product standards.
This standard is not applicable to hydraulic lift, dumbwaiter lift, freight-only lift and home lift.
