1 General provisions
1.0.1 This code is prepared with a view to specify construction, testing, acceptance of antistatic project and achieve advanced technology, cost-effectiveness and applicability, ensure quality, safety and reliability.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the place of research and development, trial-manufacture, debugging of products etc., in construction and quality acceptance of antistatic engineering which is easily damaged by static electricity.
1.0.3 In addition to the requirements stipulated in this code, those stipulated in the current relevant standards of the nation shall be complied with.
2 Terms
2.0.1
conductive ground net
a net structure that guiding electrostatic leakage to earth.
2.0.2
resistance to ground
the resistance between the ground connection point to the antistatic ground device or the surface of the tested object.
2.0.3
point-to-point resistance
the ratio of DC voltage to DC current between any two points on object surface.
2.0.4
surface resistance
the ratio of DC voltage to the steady current flowing through two electrodes with specified shaped that are in contact with the same material surface.

Volume resistance
the ratio of the DC voltage to steady current flowing through two electrodes with specified shape placed on the opposite surfaces of the material.

permanent antistatic material
duration of antistatic performance of product is consistent with the materials'serviceable life.

electrostatic decay time
the time required for the electrostatic voltage or electrostatic charge on the charged body dropped to 10% of its initial value after the disappearance of the external electric field.

antistatic grounding
antistatic material or antistatic product is reliable electrical connection to earth by conductor for its potential close to ground, which providing a channel for leaking charge.

soft grounding
grounding with sufficient large impedance for limiting current below safe current of 5mA.

ESD grounding system
grounding branch system for discharging electrostatic to earth, which is also called ESD grounding system.

local equipotential grounding terminal board(LEB)
grounding terminal board for local equipotential bonding.

ESD down-conductor system
conductor connecting the grounding terminal of electrostatic discharge protected area, ESD main grounding conductor and grounding electrode or common grounding terminal.

conductor connecting ESD equipment and ESD grounding main load or ESD main grounding conductor.

conductor connecting ESD grounding branch and grounding terminal of common grounding system or ESD main grounding conductor.

the common grounding conductor in electrostatic discharge protected area connecting all the ESD grounding branch, ESD grounding main load, and leading out of the electrostatic discharge protected area.

earth bonding point (EBP)
a special point of grounding object where shall be connected to the grounding system by a downconductor.

electrostatic leakage
the charge disappeared or partial disappeared from a charged object, which is also called electrostatic discharge.

electrostatic discharge protected area (EPA)
the specific area equipped with a variety of antistatic equipment and apparatus, set with antistatic grounding, which have a definite boundary, can limit electrostatic potential, is suitable for electrostatic protection operation.

antistatic control worktable
the worktable as a function of electrostatic discharge used for operating of electrostatic sensitive components, components and equipment.

ionizing static eliminator
uniform name of electrostatic eliminator used for air ionization to neutralize the surface anisotropic charge on charged body.

offset voltage
the voltage measured by charging board monitor at an ionizing position under the normal working condition of the ionizing electrostatic eliminator.

build deformation joint
uniform name of build expansion joints, settlement joints and antiseismic joints.

electrostatic leak resistance
Equivalent resistance from measured point to earth through grounding bonding system.
3 Basic requirements
3.0.1 the antistatic engineering shall be carried out after conditions are available.Design changing shall have the change notice from design unit.
3.0.2 For new construction, antistatic grounding devices shall be preset during civil engineering.
3.0.3 Before construction of antistatic engineering, construction unit shall compile construction management plan and draw construction drawing of grounding terminals and conductive ground net.
3.0.4 The side length of square of conductive ground net should not be larger than 6m.
3.0.5 The number of grounding terminal for each independent EPA shall not be less than 2.
3.0.6 A special construction scheme for concealed work of antistatic engineering shall be formulated.This special construction scheme shall determine the detection and acceptance content of the concealed work and technical measures for process quality control.The construction records or related data of concealed work shall be confirmed and signed by the representative of the responsible unit before construction of next process.
3.0.7 The construction of antistatic engineering shall not damage the structural safety of the building.
3.0.8 The labor safety, occupational health, fire prevention and environmental protection measures at the construction site must meet the requirements of the relevant provisions of the current national laws, regulations and standards.
3.0.9 The material for antistatic construction shall be checked and its inspection records shall be made.The material shall be long-effect antistatic material.It shall have product qualification certification and test report, and meet the requirements of the national standards on the hazardous material limits and fire performance of building decoration material.
