1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated in order to the quality and service function during the installation of fire resistant shutters, fire resistant doorsets and fire resistant windows, reduce fire hazards and protect personal and property safety.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the installation, acceptance and maintenance management of fire resistant shutters, fire resistant doorsets and fire resistant windows for construction, extension and renovation.
1.0.3 The requirements for installation and acceptance specified in relevant engineering documents and contracts for installing and acceptance of fire resistant shutters, fire resistant doorsets and fire resistant windows shall at least meet those specified in this code.
1.0.4 Installation, acceptance and maintenance management of fire resistant shutters, fire resistant doorsets and fire resistant windows shall not only meet the requirements stipulated in this code, but also comply with those specified in the current relevant national standards.
2 Terms
2.0.1 Fire resistant shutter
A kind of facility with its frame to be capable of fire prevention and thermal insulation in a certain period of time.
2.0.2 Steel fire resistant shutter
A kind of facility, equipped with door roller and control box, whose slat, guide rail, riser plate, lintel and box are made of steel materials.
2.0.3 Mineral fiber composites fire resistant shutter
A kind of facility, equipped with door roller and control box, whose shutter surface (equipped with stainless steel wire or rope) is made of mineral fibers, clamp plate, guide rail, riser plate, lintel and box are of steel materials.
2.0.4 Fire resistant doorset
A kind of door with its frame to be capable of fire prevention and thermal insulation in a certain period of time.
2.0.5 Fire resistant window
A kind of window with its frame to be capable of fire prevention and thermal insulation in a certain period of time.
2.0.6 Fixed style fire window
The fire resistant window without openable sashes.
2.0.7 Automatic-controlled fire window
The fire resistant window equipped with openable sashes and a device to control them.
2.0.8 Thermal release device
A device that can make fire resistant shutters or fire resistant windows descend or close by their own dead-weight with the aid of temperature-sensing element whose operating temperature is 73℃±0.5℃.
