1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated to conduct the investigation and surveying of the 330kV~750kV overhead transmission line in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations, guidelines and policies as well as the natural conditions to make it safe and reliable, advanced and applicable, economical and rational and environmental-friendly so as to improve the investment benefits and ensure the line safety and normal operation.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the feasibility study stage, preliminary design stage, survey of working drawing design stage, geotechnical investigation, engineering hydrological investigation and surveying and engineering meteorological investigation and surveying of the newly-built and renovated 330kV~750kV overhead transmission line. This code is not applicable to the investigation and surveying of the large crossing engineering of overhead transmission line.
1.0.3 For the purpose of the overhead transmission line engineering, the investigation and surveying stage shall be divided corresponding to the design stage and may be divided into the investigation and surveying of feasibility study stage, investigation and surveying of preliminary design stage and investigation and surveying of working drawing design stage.
1.0.4 The measuring instrument and equipment used in the investigation and surveying of the engineering must be verified periodically according to the national measurement methods; the professional application software shall be authenticated or verified.
1.0.5 The original record of the engineering investigation and surveying must be true and accurate; the collected reference shall be verified.
1.0.6 This code specifies the basic technical requirements for investigation and surveying of 330kV~750kV overhead transmission line. If this code conflicts with the requirements of the national laws and administrative regulations, the national laws and administrative regulations shall apply.
1.0.7 For the 330kV~750kV overhead transmission line, the engineering survey, geotechnical investigation, engineering hydrological investigation and surveying and engineering meteorological investigation and surveying shall not only comply with this code but those in the current relevant standards of the nation.
2 Terms and Symbols
2.1 Terms
2.1.1 Large crossing
The strain section that gives special consideration on the wire selection or tower design needs owing to larger distance between two poles (above 1000m) or higher tower (above 100m) when the line crosses the navigation river, lake or strait and has a strong impact on navigation or is especially difficult in repair in case of fault.
2.1.2 Straight line location survey
The survey in which stakes of straight line are provided in the direction connecting the two corners for the works of plane and section, cross and location survey.
2.1.3 Linearity
The extent to which the stake of straight line deviates from the theoretical straight line between two turning point stakes when both are projected on the same plane.
2.1.4 The stake of straight line
The control stake position which is set in the connecting line of two corners for the follow-up survey work like plan and section, cross and positioning.
2.1.5 Directional stake
The stakes on the front and rear straight lines and nearby the front and rear corners in the location of line or positioning for guiding the straight line direction.
2.1.6 Distance between two stakes
The horizontal distance between two adjacent stakes of straight line or the stake of straight line and adjacent turning point stake.
2.1.7 Difference of elevation between two stakes
