Rules for classification and labelling of chemicals — Part 9: Self-reactive substances and mixtures
1 Scope
This part of GB 30000 specifies the terms and definitions, classification, judgment logic and guidance and labelling of self-reactive substances and mixtures.
This part is applicable to the classification and labelling of self-reactive substances and mixtures according to the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (hereinafter refer to as “GHS”).

3 Term and definition
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 13690 and the following apply.
3.1
self-reactive substances or mixtures
thermally unstable liquid or solid substances or mixtures that are prone to intense exothermic decomposition even without oxygen (air) This definition does not include substances and mixtures classified as explosives, organic peroxides or oxidizing substances according to GHS.
Self-reactive substances or mixtures whose components are prone to explosion, rapid deflagration, or show violent effects when heated under enclosed conditions in laboratory tests shall be regarded as explosive.
4 Classification standard
