1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, classification, marking, requirements, test method, inspection rule, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of unused mineral and synthetic heat transfer fluids.
This standard is used for the heat transfer fluids of L-QB, L-QC and L-QD type and is primarily applicable to various indirect heat transfer system rather than being directly used for heating or cooling the chemicals with oxidation.
This standard is not applicable to the heat transfer fluids produced by recycling oil.
The vegetable/animal fat or the products processed by them may not be regarded as heat transfer fluids.
The L-QA product classified according to GB/T 7631.12 is not applicable to heat transfer fluid boiler.
This standard may involve some hazardous substances, operation and equipment, but doesn't purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. Thus, prior to using this standard, users are responsible to establish suitable safety and protective measures and ensure the applicability of management system.
