1 Scope
This part GB 1796 specifies terms and definitions, designation and identification, structural types, materials of components, thread, air tightness, appearance, other performances, test methods inspection rules, marking, packing and storage of tyre valve cores (hereinafter referred to as "valve cores").
This part is applicable to the valve cores for tyre valves of passenger cars, motor trucks, industrial vehicles, construction machinery, tractors, agricultural and forestry machinery, motorcycles, electromobiles and cycles.
This part is inapplicable to valve cores for aircraft tires.
