1 Scope
This standard specifies such requirements for water based extinguishing agent as terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and transportation.
It is applicable to water based extinguishing agent.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions as well as those defined in GB 15308-2006 apply.

water based extinguishing agent
liquid extinguishing agent composed of water, penetrant, fire retardant and other additives, usually in the form of liquid droplets or a mixture of droplets and foam
3.2
alcohol resistant water based extinguishing agent
a water-based extinguishing agent suitable for suppression of Class A fires and Class B fires (water-soluble and water-insoluble liquid fuels)
