Wooden craftwork - Decoration
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of wooden craftwork ornaments.
This standard is applicable to craftwork ornaments made of wood mainly.
This standard is not applicable to products made of wood composite panels as the main material.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
ornaments
craft ornaments with decorative and beautifying functions
3.2
pile paint
defects caused by localized paint or pigment piling
3.3
flow trace
flow traces that can still be distinguished after treatment of the flow hangings

4 Requirements
4.1 Raw and auxiliary materials
4.1.1 Adhesives used in the production and treatment of products shall comply with the requirements of GB 18583.
4.1.2 Solvent-based coatings used in the production and treatment of products shall comply with the requirements of GB 18581; water-based coatings shall comply with the requirements of GB 24410.
4.1.3 Dyes used in the production and treatment of products shall comply with the requirements of GB 19601.
4.1.4 The varnishing wax used in the production and treatment of products shall comply with the requirements of QB/T 2991.
4.2 Materials
4.2.1 If the names of the woods used need to be indicated for the product, the ones conforming to the requirements of GB/T 16734, GB/T 18107 and GB/T 18513 shall be used. If the product is made of two or more types of wood, the wood name expressed shall indicate the specific parts for the woods used.
4.2.2 The product material shall match its expressed name.
4.3 Appearance
4.3.1 The products shall be free of burrs, decay, mildew, insect, knot, cracking and other defects.
4.3.2 The text pattern shall be free of stains, bleed marks; the same color on the same product shall not be significantly different, and coloring of the product shall meet the design requirements.
4.3.3 The paint film shall be flat and smooth, and the painting surface shall be free from defects such as pile paint, flow traces, paint leakage, peeling, wrinkling and blistering.
Note: Special design is not considered a defect.
4.4 Stability
The product shall be able to stably stand on the horizontal plane and shall not have sway (except for special design), tilt and other phenomena.
4.5 Assembly
Assembled parts shall be flat, firmly connected, fit well, and free of glue loss, nail loss and misalignment affecting its beauty and function.
4.6 Moisture content
The moisture content shall be 7% to 18%.
4.7 Fittings
4.7.1 Glass fittings shall not be broken, their exposed periphery and openings shall be rounded, and their outer surface shall not have non-designed scratches, pockmarks or other defects.
4.7.2 Plastic accessories shall not have breakage, flying edge or other defects.
4.7.3 Metal fittings shall not have rust, burrs or other defects on their surfaces.
