1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of adornment of precious metal coating.
This standard is applicable to adornments with various metals (except precious metal like gold, silver, platinum, palladium and rhodium) as substrate and provided with gold, silver or rhodium coatings; adornment of precious metal coating with nonmetal as substrate may also comply with this standard.
