This standard is a revision to QB/T 2924-2007 Fur - Test methods for color fastness to perspiration.
The following main technical changes have been made with respect to QB/T 2924-2007:
a) clause "Normative references" is adjusted and supplemented with some new items (see Clause 2 hereof; Clause 2 of Edition 2007);
b) clause "Terms and definitions" is added (see Clause 3 hereof);
c) revision is made to clause "Principle" (see Clause 4 hereof; Clause 3 of Edition 2007);
d) the requirements on the "color fastness to perspiration tester" are adjusted and refined (see 5.1 hereof; 4.2 of Edition 2007);
e) the tolerance of artificial sweat pH is included (see 5.3 hereof; 4.5 of Edition 2007);
f) the description about adjacent fabrics is simplified (see 5.4 hereof; 4.4 of Edition 2007);
g) the requirements on "gray scale" are supplemented and adjusted (see 5.5 and 5.6 hereof; 4.1 of Edition 2007).
h) "test water", "pH meter", "sprinkler" and "press knife" are added to sub-clause "Apparatus and materials" (see 5.7 to 5.10 hereof);
i) the content on "sampling and specimen preparation" is refined and the dimensions of the standard cotton adjacent fabrics are revised (see Clause 6 hereof; Clause 5 of Edition 2007);
j) the test steps are modified and refined (see Clause 7 hereof, see Clause 6 of Edition 2007);
k) in sub-clause "Evaluation of results", the evaluation on fur duvet specimen discoloration is added and the requirements on the light source for evaluation are modified (see Clause 8 hereof; Clause 7 of Edition 2007);
l) sub-clause "Evaluation deviation" is added (see Clause 9 hereof);
m) the content about "Test report" is adjusted (see Clause 10 hereof; Clause 9 of Edition 2007).

No terms and definitions are listed in this document.
4 Principle
Moisten the fur duvet specimen and the standard cotton adjacent fabrics with artificial sweat fully, closely laminate them to make a composite specimen, place it in the color fastness to perspiration tester, and kept it under the specified weight at the specified temperature for a specified period of time. Dry the specimen and the standard cotton adjacent fabrics, evaluate the discoloration of the fur duvet specimen and the staining of the standard cotton adjacent fabrics by using gray scales respectively.
