1.0.1 This specification is formulated in order to adapt to the requirements of the highway construction and transportation development, increase construction technique level of China's highway cement concrete pavement engineering and to ensure the construction quality.
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to all levels of newly built or rebuilt motorway concrete pavement engineering that adopt slipform spreading machine, traiform spreading machine, triple-roller-tube or simple machines. It's also applicable to roller compacted concrete pavement engineering that adopts asphalt paver spreading technique.
1.0.3 During the construction of concrete pavement, according to the contracts, design documents, and ambient conditions such as the climate, hydrology and landform in the construction sites, the raw materials with that stable nature that satisfy the quality index demand shall be adopted, the mixture ratio, device category and construction technology shall be determined, detailed construction design shall be carried out for establishing complete construction quality security system.
1.0.4 The constructions of concrete pavement should actively adopt new materials, new equipments, new process and new techniques, and unceasingly improve the engineering quality and construction technique level of the concrete pavement.
1.0.5 The construction of concrete pavement shall not only comply with this specification, but also shall comply with those specified in the related national current standards.
