1 Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules and product identification for pneumatic fluid power directional control valve with pressure no greater than 1.6MPa.
This standard is applicable to general-purpose pneumatic fluid power directional control valves with compressed air as the working medium, including solenoid, pneumatically, mechanically and manually controlled directional control valves.

For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions specified in GB/T 17446 and those listed below apply.
3.1
manipulating force
the force applied on the control device which enables manually or mechanically controlled directional control valve to work normally
3.2
elastomeric seal
the seal form that uses elastomeric seals to realize the sealing requirements
3.3
clearance seal
the seal form that uses micro clearance between kinematic pair to achieve sealing function
3.4
working frequency
the reciprocal of interval between two switching actions of pneumatic fluid power directional control valve under operating conditions, expressed in once/time
