This part specifies the measuring methods of industrial noise in workplace.

This part is applicable to the measurement of industrial noise in workplace.



2 Measuring Instruments



2.1 Sound level meter: Type 2 or above, being provided with A weighted sound level and “S (slow)” position.

2.2 Integrating sound level meter or individual noise dose meter: Type 2 or above, being provided with A weighted and C weighted sound levels as well as “S (slow)” position and “Peak (peak value)” position.
