Test methods for power reciprocating pump
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test implementation, parameter measurement, data processing, performance curve plotting and test report of power reciprocating pump (hereinafter referred to as "pump").
This standard includes two measurement precision grades: Grade 1 is applicable to high-precision test while Grade 2 is applicable to general-precision test. The two measurement precision grades include different tolerance coefficients, allowable fluctuations and measurement error limits.
This standard is applicable not only to pumps without any pipeline accessories, but also to pump assemblies with pipeline accessories.

4.2.1.1 Factory test
The test shall be carried out in the manufacturing factory or at a place mutually agreed by the manufacturer/supplier and the buyer.
4.2.1.2 On-site test
4.2.1.2.1 If all requirements of this standard can be met, on-site test may also carried out, provided that a special agreement is available.
4.2.1.2.2 In case that the on-site conditions cannot fully comply with this standard, as long as the parties concerned have agreed on how to consider the uncertainty inevitably caused by the violation of the specified requirements, on-site test may also be carried out, and the data processing may be carried out by reference to Annex A.
