GB/T 6197-2024 Wood based panel machinery — Veneer dryer
1 Scope
This standard specifies the parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging and storage of veneer dryer.
This document is applicable to veneer roller dryer and veneer net belt dryer for drying wooden veneer (collectively referred to as "veneer dryer", hereinafter referred to as "dryer").

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

veneer roller dryer
equipment for holding and transporting the veneer by a pair of rollers, using hot air or gas as the drying medium, and drying the veneer by circulating the drying medium and heat transfer in contact with the roller
3.2
veneer net belt dryer
equipment for holding and transporting the veneer by the upper and lower metal net belts, using hot air or gas as the drying medium, and drying the veneer by circulating the drying medium

roller
cylindrical parts used for holding the veneer traveling in the veneer roller dryer
3.4
support roller
cylindrical parts located under the net belt of veneer net belt dryer and drives the mesh belt to run
3.5
end roller
cylindrical parts located at the front and back end of veneer net belt dryer, and used for tensioning net belts
