1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining benzo (a) pyrene in foods.
This standard is applicable to the determination of benzo (a) pyrene in foods.
The detection limit of this method is 1ng/g for 50g sample size and 1g sample dose.
Method 1 Fluorescence Spectrophotometry
2 Principle
First extract sample with organic solvent or after the saponification, subject the extracted solution to liquid-liquid separation or purification by chromatographic column, then separate benzo (a) pyrene on an acetylation filter paper. As the benzo (a) pyrene presents bluish violet fluorescence spot under ultraviolet, cut off the filter paper on which the separated benzo (a) pyrene exists and immense the paper in solvent, then measure the fluorescence intensity by fluorescence spectrophotometer and compare quantitatively with the standard.
3 Reagents
3.1 Benzene: redistilled.
3.2 Cyclohexane (or petroleum ether with a 30℃~60℃ boiling range): without fluorescence after redistilled or treated by aluminum oxide column.
