1 Scope
This part of GB/T 3048 specifies terms and definitions, test equipment, specimen preparation, test procedure, precautions, calibration of test instruments and test records for partial discharge test.
This test method is applicable to partial discharge measurements on lengths of extruded power cable, i.e., to measure and check that the discharge magnitude does not exceed a specified value, at a specified voltage with a given sensitivity.
Reference is made to IEC 60270:1981 which gives the techniques and considerations applicable to partial discharge measurements in general.
This part shall be used in combination with GB/T 3048.1.
