1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of household and similar purposes drinking water treatment core.
This standard is applicable to household and similar purposes drinking water treatment core (hereinafter referred to as "drinking water treatment core").

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

Drinking water treatment core
The component of household and similar water treatment facility capable of improving the water quality.
3.2
Filtration
The process of filtering the impurities in water through filter material, filter membrane or drinking water treatment core.
