3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 6326 apply.
4 Designation methods for tyre size codes
4.1 Ultra light and light truck tyres
Examples of tyre size codes for ultra light and light trucks are as follows:
Example 1:
Example 2:
4.2 Truck tyres
Examples of tyre size codes for trucks are as follows:
Example 1:
Example 2:
5 Size codes, dimensions, inflation pressure and load capacity for tyres
5.1 The size code, ply rating, load index, measured rim, new tyre dimension, load capacity and inflation pressure for tyres shall be as specified in Tables 1 to 33; the maximum dimension in service, static load radius, minimum dual spacing, permissible rim and model of inflating valves for tyres should be as specified in Tables 1 to 33; data for other specifications are listed in Annex A.
5.2 The corresponding relations between tyre speed and load change shall be as specified in Table 34. When the load increases, inflation pressure shall be appropriately increased, and the increase ratio shall be settled through negotiation with the manufacturer.
5.3 The corresponding relations between load index and load capacity shall meet the requirements of Annex B.
5.4 The corresponding relations between speed symbols and the maximum driving speed shall meet the requirements of Annex C.
