GB/T 26846-2024 Lead-out wire and connector of motor and controller used for electric bicycles
1 Scope
This document specifies the general rules, electrical performance, mechanical performance, environmental performance, and other requirements for the lead-out wires and connectors of motor and controller used for electric bicycles, describes the testing equipment and instruments, as well as the corresponding test methods, specifies the requirements for inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage, and defines terms and definitions that are convenient for technical regulations, provides the product structure.
This document applies to the design, production, inspection, and sales of the lead-out wires and connectors of motor and controller used for electric bicycles included in the aid bicycles defined in QB/T1714.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

lead-out wire
cables connecting motors, controllers, and connectors

connector
combination of terminals, sheaths, and their accessories used to achieve electrical connections

plug
connector consisting of a connector housing and a terminal, which can be inserted into a socket to connect electricity

socket
connector consisting of a connector housing and a terminal, which can accept a plug to connect electricity

terminal
metal parts for realizing electrical connection

insulator for installing terminal

main circuit
circuit for driving a motor by transmitting power electric energy at the output end of a battery system to drive motor

4.1 Lead-out wire structure
4.1.1 Single-core cable
See Figure 1 for the structure of single-core cable, and the dimensions and specifications shall meet those specified in Table 1.
