GB/T 23447-2023 Sanitary ware — Shower for bathing
1 Scope
This document specifies the materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of shower for bathing (hereinafter referred to as shower).
This document is applicable to the showers with the following conditions of use: dynamic pressure of 0.05MPa to 0.50MPa, water temperature of 4°C to 70°C.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
shower
a device through which water is intended to be emitted in the form of jets or water droplets for bathing purposes.
Note: Generally, showers may be classified into hand-held shower and head shower.
3.2
hand-held shower
a shower, installed on a fixed or movable support and connected by a flexible hose, which may be moved or held freely by bather within certain spatial scope
3.3
head shower
a shower, fixed on the top or at the side of the user, which can directly bath the user
4 Materials
Materials for the product shall not cause water contamination and use of corrosive materials is not allowed.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Appearance quality
5.1.1 Outside surface of copper casting shall be free from any defects such as shrinkage cavity, sand hole, crack or gas hole; its inner cavity shall not be adhered with foundry sand.
5.1.2 Outside surface of plastic components shall be free from obvious chevron, scrape, modified damage or other defects.
5.1.3 All surfaces accessible to human body in service shall be free from potential risks harmful to the body.
5.1.4 After installation, electroplated outside surface shall be bright and even, and free from skip plating, peeling, stripping and blistering.
