1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of formic acid for industrial use.
It is applicable to the formic acid for industrial use produced by methyl formate method and sodium formate method.

The formic acid for industrial use can be divided into three specifications according to formic acid content: 94%, 90% and 85%.
