This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 2040-2008 Copper and copper alloy sheet. The following main changes have been made with respect to GB/T 2040-2008:
——five designations and corresponding requirements of TFe0.1, TFe2.5, H66, HSn88-1 and BZn18-26 are added;
——the code expression of copper and copper alloy is added;
——the alloy designation and state expression are modified;
——the specification range of fine copper, oxygen-free copper and TCr0.5 sheet is modified;
——the properties of some sheets are modified;
——the requirements of Rockwell hardness are deleted;
——the content “Measurement method for overall dimension” is changed to “The inspection method for the overall dimension and allowable deviation of the sheet shall be in accordance with GB/T 26303.3”;
——references for YS/T 482 Methods for analysis of copper and copper alloys - The atomic emission spectrometry and YS/T 483 Methods for analysis of copper and copper alloys - X-Ray fluorescence spectrometric (wavelength dispersive) are added;
——the tensile sample number is modified in accordance with GB/T 228.1-2010.
——the requirements that "Sampling method shall be in accordance with YS/T 668, and the samples for mechanical property and processing property shall be prepared in accordance with YS/T 815” are added.
This standard was proposed by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of SAC/TC 243 National Technical Committee on Nonferrous Metals of Standardization Administration of China.
