1 Scope
This document specifies the classification of coal product varieties and coal quality index grades. This document applies to the products of anthracite, bituminous coal and lignite.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 3715 apply to this document.
4 Classification of particle size
Coal products can be divided into 12 categories according to their particle size, see Table 1.
5 Classification of varieties
Coal products are divided into national categories according to their use, processing methods and technical requirements, with 27 varieties. The categories of coal products, the names of varieties and technical requirements should be in accordance with the provisions of Table 2.

6.1 Ash content (A,)
6.1.1 Fine coal

7 Test methods
7.1 Coal sieving shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T477.
7.2 Coal ash (Aq) is determined according to the methods specified in GB/T 212 or GB/T 30732, and the slow ashing method is carried out in accordance with GB/T 212 for arbitration.
7.3 Coal sulphur (S.s) is determined according to the method specified in GB/T214 or GB/T 25214, and the arbitration is carried out in accordance with the Esker method in GB/T214.
7.4 Coal calorific value (Q....) Determination according to the method specified in GB/T 213,
7.5 The limit down rate of lump coal is determined according to the method specified in MT/T1.
7.6 Determination of magnetic content in coal according to the method specified in GB/T 216.
7.7 The chlorine content of coal is determined according to the method specified in GB/T3558.
7.8 The arsenic content in coal is determined according to the method specified in GB/T 3058 or SN/T 3521.
7.9 The mercury content in coal is determined according to the method specified in GB/T 16659 or SN/T 3623.
7.10 The fluorine content in coal is determined according to the method specified in GB/T 4633.
