3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
household and similar electrical appliances
electrical appliances used by non-professionals in home, apartment or similar places (e.g., shops, light industry and farms), their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase AC powered appliances and not more than 480 V for other appliances
3.2
energy saving and environment protection
effective and reasonable use of energy, saving and recycling resources, reduce environmental pollution and emissions in the life cycle stage of household appliances, through the adoption of technically feasible, economically reasonable and environmentally and socially acceptable measures
3.3
life cycle
a series of stages successively connected in product system, from obtainment of raw materials from natural world or natural resource until final disposal

3.4
recyclability rate
percentage of the total mass of household electrical appliances expected to be reused and recycled (excluding the energy recovery part) and the total mass of household electrical appliances
[Source: GB/T 29769-2013, 3.18, modified]
3.5
compatibility
materials in the plastic blend do not seep, frost or produce a state similar to separation
