3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 15604 and the following apply.
3.1
tobacco processing system
general term for the production process of processing tobacco leaves into finished cigarettes
Note: The tobacco processing processes include those such as tobacco leaf re-curing, tobacco primary processing, rolling packaging and tobacco leaf reconstitution.
3.2
dedusting room
building (structure) where the equipment collecting and treating the tobacco dust is arranged in a centralized way
4 Overall requirements
4.1 According to the Criteria for determining major accident hazards in industrial and trade enterprises, enterprises shall identify and evaluate the dust explosion risk in tobacco processing system, and take dust explosion prevention and control measures to eliminate or reduce the generation of ignition sources in dangerous places of dust explosion.
4.2 Enterprises shall establish a zoning map for explosive tobacco dust hazard areas in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 3836.3 and GB 15577 and based on the frequency and duration of the explosive dust. The tobacco production area shall be divided into areas 20, 21, 22, and non-explosive hazard areas, indicating the type and scope of the areas, and taking technical measures to reduce the risk of dust explosions.
