This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces FZ/T 73028-2009 Knitted Artificial Leather Garment; the following technical changes have been made with respect to FZ/T 73028-2009 (the previous edition):
——The classification of knitted artificial leather garment is deleted (see Chapter 3, Edition 2009);
——The expression "or GB/T 6411" is added to the size specification (see 3.3.1; 4.2.1, Edition 2009);
——The acceptable product indexes are modified as to the size deviation along the longitudinal direction of the main part of the finished products (see Table 1; Table 1, Edition 2009);
——The provisions of appearance quality requirements are modified (see Table 4; Table 4, Edition 2009);
——The test items with respect to tearing strength, ball bursting strength and colour fastness to washing with soap are deleted (see Table 5; Table 5, Edition 2009);
——The test indexes and test method for peculiar smell are added (see Table 5 and 4.2.4);
——The test items and test methods for the limit of harmful substance in polyvinyl chloride artificial leather are added (see Table 5 and 4.2.6);
——The test method for tearing strength is modified (see 4.2.7; 5.4.1, Edition 2009);
——The "flex resistance at low temperature” is changed to "flex resistance"; the corresponding test indexes and test methods are modified (see Table 5 and 4.2.8; Table 5 and 5.4.2, Edition 2009);

——The requirement “As for products with sprayed, embroidered and printed patterns, the discoloration of the patterns shall not be inferior to Grade 4 and shall not fall off after washing” is deleted (4.8.2, Edition 2009);
——The description method as to the measurement of sleeve length is modified (see Table 6; Table 6, Edition 2009);
——The provisions and their sequence as to the appearance and sewing quality are modified (see Table 7; Table 7, Edition 2009).

Knitted Artificial Leather Garment
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection and judgment rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of knitted artificial leather garments.
This standard is applicable to the artificial leather garments produced with artificial leather (with textile and knitted fabric as the base cloth) as the main fabric.

3 Requirements
3.1 Grading requirements
The products are classified into high-grade products, first-grade products and acceptable products.
3.2 Instructions for use
3.2.1 Artificial leather fabrics are only marked with the type of coating, for example: polyvinyl chloride coating or PVC coating.
3.2.2 The basic safety technology category of garment products for adults shall be in accordance with those specified in GB 18401 and that for the garment products for infants and children shall be in accordance with those specified in GB 31701.
3.3 Size specification
3.3.1 The size specification shall comply with those specified in GB/T 1335 (all parts) or GB/T 6411.
3.3.2 Specification and dimension deviation at main parts of finished product shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.

3.4 Raw material
3.4.1 Fabric
Appropriate fabrics shall be selected according to the requirements of relevant national standards on artificial leather. The whole fabric shall be smooth and flat with clear patterns and uniform colour; the leather shall be finely and evenly textured without waxiness. The artificial leather shall be soft, without delamination, dyeing defects or bubbles. The thickness, fineness as well as colour and luster of leather layer shall be basically uniform (except for special designs).
3.4.2 Lining
Lining with the colour matching with that of the fabric shall be adopted (except for special design).
3.4.3 Accessories
3.4.3.1 Lining cloth and shoulder pads
Fusible interlining and shoulder pad that are matching with the fabric of the artificial leather shall be adopted, and their quality shall comply with the requirements of corresponding product standards.
3.4.3.2 Stitching threads
Stitching threads that are matching with the fabric and accessories shall be adopted, with the colour of the thread for sewing the button matching with that of the button, and the colour of the thread for sewing the trademark matching with the background colour of trademark (except for ornamental thread).
3.4.3.3 Zipper, buttons and accessories
The zipper, buttons and accessories with colour and performance matching with the fabric shall be adopted, and they shall be defectless, durable, smooth, and suitable in tightness. Buttons and accessories shall be free from deformation, discoloration or rust after cleaning and ironing.
3.5 Materials for main parts
The materials for the main parts shall comply with the requirements of Table 2, excluding those with special-style.

Top collar The surface shall be smooth and defectless, with clear patterns and uniform colour.
Left and right fronts; front and back trouser (skirt) pieces The fabric shall be clear in patterns and uniform in colour, without colour difference or defects such as delamination, bubbles, pinholes, scratch, block (burnt mark and impurities), fabric base strike-through, folding and base rupture.
Back The colour of the back shall match with that of the front, with the colour difference not inferior to Grade 4-5 at the left and right side seams; the number of inconspicuous slight defects shall not exceed 2 at the lower 1/2 of the back
Top sleeve surface The surface shall be fine and smooth. The colour difference with the body piece shall not be inferior to Grade 4. The number of slight defects at the position no less than 2cm from the sleeve line shall not exceed 2. Defect spots are not allowed.
Under sleeve surface The colour difference with the sleeve surface shall be not inferior to Grade 4-5, and the colour difference of the sleeve line shall not be inferior to Grade 4.
Waistband, belt and accessories The material used for such parts shall be basically the same as that of the body piece, with slight damages allowed on the surface
3.6 Sewing quality
3.6.1 The stitch density shall comply with those specified in Table 3.

Note: ornamental thread is excluded.
3.6.2 The sewing of each position shall be flat and smooth, the line shall be straight, regular and firm, the stitches shall be even, the tightness of upper and lower threads shall be appropriate, and the start and stop stitch points and both sides of the pocket mouth shall be back stitched firmly.
3.6.3 The trademark shall be positioned uprightly; the size mark, composition mark and cleaning mark shall be clear and accurate.
3.6.4 The collar shall be flat, smooth and free of upturning and splicing.
3.6.5 The setting in sleeve shall be round and smooth and two sleeves shall be basically consistent with each other at the front and back.
3.6.6 The pocket and pocket flap shall be square and even with front and back at uniform height. The padding of the pocket bag shall be subjected to clean finishing and overlock stitching.
3.6.7 The fastening stitch at armhole, sleeve seam, hem, cuff, facing opening, coat side seam and other parts shall be firm.
3.6.8 The snap button shall be properly tightened, with the upper and lower buttons aligned. The eyelit and hook shall be correctly positioned, and the button and hooks shall be attached firmly.
3.6.9 The zipper stitching shall be straight; the zipper tape shall be flat, smooth and the zipper flies on the right and left shall be consistent in height.
3.6.10 Skipping stitch is not allowed in collar and main parts. The number of skipping stitches allowed at other parts within 30cm shall not exceed 2. The chain stitch shall be free from skipping stitch.
3.6.11 Surface of fabric shall be free from traces caused by needle plate and feed dog. Welt and batten shall be flat and smooth and be consistent in width.
