1 Scope
Product classification, product specification, requirements, test methods, determination rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of knitted workmanship sweater are specified in this standard.
This standard is applicable to evaluate the quality of the knitted workmanship sweaters which are in pure and blend spinning or interleaving with cotton, hemp, silk and chemical fiber (including processing with knitting machine, hand knitting and knitted fabric cutting)

3 Product Classification
Knitted workmanship sweater may be classified into plain knitted fabric, hollow jacquard fabric, plaited fabric and loose structure fabric by knitting structure.
4 Product Specification
4.1 Specification of knitted workmanship sweater: mark the chest girth of human body in centimeter (cm).
4.2 The specification of knitted workmanship sweater added with elastic fiber or ones in special design: marking the applicable wearing scope of chest girth, such as 95~105, which means it is suitable for the people whose chest girth is 95cm ~105 cm.
5 Requirements
5.1 Requirement content
The requirements are divided into inherent quality and appearance quality. Inherent quality includes the requirements of fibre content, formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, detatchable aromatic amine dyes, pilling, water-washing dimensional change ratio, colour fastness to washing, colour fastness to water, colour fastness to perspiration, colour fastness to rubbing and colour fastness etc. Appearance quality covers indexes the requirements of surface defect, stitch elongation, neckline undrawing size, size deviation, self size difference etc.
