This code is applicable to the anti-seismic design, shock insulation, energy dissipation and shock absorption design for the electrical equipments below 220kV in the petrochemical engineering enterprises at the district where the earthquake protection intensity is 6~9 grade. As for the electrical equipment at districts where the earthquake protection intensity is larger than grade 9, its anti-seismic design shall be executed according to special provisions.
Note: This code generally omits such words "seismic fortification intensity,” that “seismic fortification intensity is grade 6, 7, 8, 9" shall be expressed as “grade 6, 7, 8, and 9" for short.
