1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage specifications for air filters used in fuel cell engines.
This document is applicable to the design, manufacturing, and inspection of air filter products for fuel cell engines.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in QC/T 32-2017, QC/T 970-2014, GB/T 32085.1-2015, GB/T 32085.2-2015, GB/T 24548-2009, and the following apply.
3.1 fuel cell system
Comprising the fuel cell stack and the fuel cell auxiliary system, capable of normal operation when supplied with an external hydrogen source.

3.2 air filter for fuel cell system
A device used to remove particulate impurities and gaseous pollutants from the air entering the fuel cell system.
3.3 filter element
The replaceable component within an air filter, consisting of the filtration medium and supporting structure.
3.4 rated air volume flow
The volumetric air flow rate at the outlet of the air filter under standard atmospheric conditions, as specified by the user or manufacturer.
Note: Determined based on measurement and calculation of the actual demand of the fuel cell engine.
3.5 initial air flow resistance
The air flow resistance/pressure loss of a new, complete test piece at the rated air flow rate.

3.6 filtration efficiency
The capability of an air filter to remove specified test dust according to the prescribed test method.

3.7 initial filtration efficiency
The capability of an air filter equipped with a new filter element to remove specified test dust according to the prescribed method.

3.8 full life filtration efficiency
The overall filtration efficiency measured when the test termination conditions are reached.

4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Appearance
The product shall be inspected visually. The surface of the air filter shall be free from damage and impurities. Product markings shall be clear. The filter medium shall not be detached from the frame.
4.2 Dimensions and Mass
The dimensions and mass of the air filter shall conform to the specifications in the product technical documentation.
4.3 Combustion Characteristics
The combustion result of the air filter element shall meet the A-0 mm/min requirement specified in GB 8410-2006. The combustion result of the air filter housing shall meet the
