This standard specifies contents related to prestressed concrete cylinder pipe including product classification, technical requirements, test method, test rules, marking, packaging, transport, storage and certificate of merchandise, etc.
This standard is applicable to prestressed concrete cylinder pipe of 600~3000 mm nominal bore and 0.4~2.0 MPa hydrostatic pressure that laid underground and has no erosion or abrasive action on concrete or joint ring.
This standard is not applicable to prestressed concrete cylinder pipe used in water and soil environment with corrosive action.
