3. Terms and Definitions
This document has no terms and definitions to be defined.
4. Coal Samples
4.1 Coal Core Samples
After reduction according to Section 5 of GB/T 30049-2013, coal fines with particle size less than 0.5 mm (or the intended flotation size in the process) are obtained, with a mass of no less than 1 kg.
4.2 Coal Seam or Production Samples
After sieve analysis according to GB/T 477, coal fines with particle size less than 0.5 mm (or the intended flotation size in the process) are reduced from both natural and crushed fractions, blended proportionally to their original coal content, and weighed no less than 10 kg.
4.3 Flotation Feed from Coal Preparation Plants
Sampled according to Section 6 of GB/T 475-2008, flotation feed without any flotation reagents is filtered, dried, and weighed no less than 10 kg.
4.4 Analysis and Storage
4.4.1 Analytical Testing
Conduct the following analyses (additional items may be included as needed) according to GB/T 211, GB/T 212, GB/T 213, and GB/T 214:
Moisture (Mad);
Ash content (Ad);
Total sulfur (St,d).
4.4.2 Sieve Analysis
Perform sieve analysis according to GB/T 477.
4.4.3 Storage
Dry the test coal samples to air-dry condition, store them in sealed containers in a dry place, and limit storage time to no more than 10 months.
