1 Scope
This document specifies the basic requirements for sales quality control of fruit and vegetable products, sales process quality control and product quality management.
This document is applicable to the quality control and management of fresh fruit and vegetable products in the sales process, but not to processed fruit and vegetable products.

The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.

4 Basic requirements
4.1 Requirements
Employees should be in good health and have the professional knowledge and skills required for the sales quality control of fruit and vegetable products.
4.2 Environmental requirements for facilities and equipment
4.2.1 Sales enterprises should reasonably lay out and install facilities and equipment according to production process requirements, and ensure convenient operation on the premise of ensuring safe production. Temporary equipment should be placed in fixed areas according to needs.
4.2.2 The performance and parameters of facilities and equipment should meet the environmental control requirements of the sales process, and be regularly calibrated, maintained and maintained.
4.2.3 The environment should meet the requirements of product production and sales quality control and management, have clear functional areas, and meet the requirements of people flow and logistics.
4.3 Requirements
Sales enterprises should establish relevant systems for quality control of fruit and vegetable products, including personnel, factory environment, facilities and equipment, raw material quality, commercialization, storage, transportation, sales, quality inspection, retrospective recall, complaint handling, waste disposal, emergency management and other systems, and post them in obvious locations.
5. Quality Control in Sales Process
5.1 Product Requirements
Fruits and vegetables shall be fresh, clean, and exhibit typical shape, color, and characteristics for their variety. They must be free from pests, diseases, rot, abnormal external moisture, or off-odors, fully developed, and meet storage and transportation requirements for sale.
5.2 Packaging Requirements
5.2.1 Packaging materials or containers shall be intact, clean, uncontaminated, odor-free, and free from toxic or harmful substances.
5.2.2 Each package shall contain produce from the same origin, batch, variety, and grade.
5.2.3 Outer packaging: Use boxes (cardboard or plastic) with adequate breathability, compression resistance, and smooth inner surfaces to protect the product.
Inner packaging: Provide cushioning, breathability, isolation, and moisture retention. Material selection shall comply with GB/T 33129.
5.2.4 Avoid excessive packaging based on product grade, quality control, and commercialization needs.
5.2.5 Packaging labels shall include product name, specifications, weight, origin, date, and storage conditions, per GB/T 32950.
5.3 Storage Requirements
5.3.1 Before storage, clean and disinfect warehouses, containers, and tools; ensure proper ventilation; and inspect equipment.
5.3.2 Storage methods (ventilation, refrigeration, or controlled atmosphere) shall align with GB/T 42503 and GB/T 23244, based on product type and purpose.
5.3.3 Produce with significantly different storage needs or risks of cross-contamination/volatile gas interference shall be stored separately.
5.3.4 Regularly monitor temperature, humidity, and gas composition to maintain optimal conditions.
5.3.5 Conduct periodic quality checks, remove defective produce promptly, and record findings.
5.4 Transportation Requirements
5.4.1 Use refrigerated or insulated vehicles; stack goods compactly and securely to prevent slipping or crushing.
