GB/T 44850-2024 Driving safety test items and methods for intelligent and connected vehicles
1 Scope
This document describes the corresponding test methods for the driving safety for intelligent and connected vehicles.
This document is applicable to the driving safety test for intelligent and connected vehicles (including intelligent and connected passenger cars, buses, good vehicles, and special motor vehicles) with Level 3 driving automation (conditional automated driving) and above as specified in GB/T 40429.
It may be used as a reference for other vehicles with automatic driving functions.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 43766 and GB/T 43758.1 and the following apply.
3.1
driving safety test
activity that uses site test, road test, simulation test and other methods to evaluate the basic driving ability, safe and civilized driving ability and emergency avoidance ability of intelligent and connected vehicles
3.2
target vehicle; TV
equipment such as passenger cars, etc. that cooperates with the vehicle under test to complete the test work
3.3
design operational condition
general term for various conditions determined during the design of a driving automation system and applicable to its functional operation
Note 1: The functional operating conditions of driving automation system include the design operational range, vehicle states, driver and passenger states and other necessary conditions.
Note 2: The design operational scope refers to the external environmental conditions (including include roads, traffic, weather, light, etc.) suitable for its functional operation determined during the design of the driving automation system.
