1 Scope
This document specifies the inspection procedures, inspection items and inspection requirements for new energy vehicles safety operation inspection.
This document is applicable to the safety operation inspection of in-service pure electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric (including extended range) vehicles. It may also serve as a reference for other types of in-use new energy vehicles.

3 Terms, definitions and abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19596 and the following apply.

inspection of technical performance of power battery, drive motor, electronic control system, electrical safety and other components/devices related to safety operation of new energy vehicles
3.2 Abbreviations
For the purposes of this document, the following abbreviations apply.

4 Inspection procedures
4.1 New energy vehicles safety operation inspection should be carried out in combination with the data monitoring and analysis results (hereinafter referred to as "online monitoring and analysis results") transmitted in GB/T 32960.3.
4.2 New energy vehicles safety operation inspection process is shown in Figure 1. During the inspection process, if the vehicle has an alarm signal related to the traction battery, drive motor, electronic control system, and electrical safety, the inspection shall be stopped.
