1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determination of degree of dye transfer in various colored textiles during storage.
This standard is applicable to various colored textiles.

3 Principle
Place the sample and the multi-fiber standard adjacent fabric together or between the samples to form a combined sample. Under the specified temperature, humidity, and pressure conditions, leave it for a certain period of time and then naturally dry the combined sample. Use a grey scale or an instrument to assess the staining rating of each fiber in the multi-fiber adjacent fabric and the degree of change in color of the sample.
