GB/T 31398-2015 Roll turning lathes - Specifications
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of roll turning lathes.
This standard is applicable to general-purpose roll turning lathes with a maximum workpiece diameter of 400mm to 2,000mm and a maximum workpiece length of up to 10,000mm.

3 General requirements
When a roll turning lathe is accepted in accordance with this standard, the remaining items specified in GB/T 9061-2006, GB/T 23570-2009, GB/T 25373-2010 and GB/T 25376-2010 that are not specifically defined in this standard shall also be inspected.
4 Accessories and tools
4.1 The following accessories and tools shall be supplied with the roll turning lathe:
a) One set of special tools;
b) One set of foundation bolts, nuts, washers and adjusting shims.
4.2 Special accessories for extending the service performance of the roll turning lathe shall be supplied by agreement in accordance with the user’s requirements.
4.3 The standard accessories and tools of the roll turning lathe shall ensure the interchangeability at the connecting interfaces and the intended service performance.
5 Safety and hygiene
5.1 The safety of the electrical system of the roll turning lathe shall comply with the provisions of GB 5226.1.
5.2 The safety of the hydraulic system of the roll turning lathe shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 23572-2009.
5.3 The safety of the lubrication system of the roll turning lathe shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 6576-2002.
