Sightseeing Ship Service Quality Requirements
1 Scope
This document specifies the basic requirements, facility and environmental requirements, reception service requirements, commentary requirements, service personnel requirements, and service management requirements for sightseeing ship services.
This document applies to sightseeing ships that provide tourism services within areas such as tourist attractions and tourist resorts.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Sightseeing ship
A passenger ship equipped with sightseeing areas, operating within areas such as tourist attractions and tourist resorts, providing tourists with services including sightseeing, touring, leisure and entertainment.
Note: A passenger ship is a vessel capable of carrying more than 12 passengers.
4 Basic Requirements
4.1 Sightseeing ship operators shall be customer-oriented, operate with integrity, and fulfill their service quality commitments to tourists.
4.2 Sightseeing ship service quality objectives shall be established, specifying the methods, approaches and measures for achieving them, and services shall be provided in a safe, hygienic, standardized, honest, orderly and efficient manner under controllable conditions.
4.3 Sightseeing ship safety management systems shall be established, and emergency response plans shall be developed for emergencies such as tourists falling into water, sudden breakdown of the ship and key equipment, stampedes, natural disasters, fires, pollution incidents, hygiene incidents, and security incidents. Emergency drills shall be conducted regularly.
4.4 Customer satisfaction surveys shall be conducted regularly, and social supervision shall be accepted to continuously improve and enhance service quality.
5 Facility and Environmental Requirements
5.1 Service Facilities and Equipment
5.1.1 The cabin layout shall be suitable for sightseeing, seats shall be comfortable, and passengers shall embark and disembark safely and conveniently.
5.1.2 Embarkation and disembarkation passages and internal passageways shall be unobstructed. Evacuation diagrams or escape route maps shall be posted in main corridors, public areas and passenger areas. Emergency deployment plans shall be posted in crew public areas such as the wheelhouse, crew meeting rooms and engine room.
5.1.3 Accessible passageways shall be provided for persons with disabilities, and service equipment such as wheelchairs shall be available. Dedicated service areas shall be provided for mothers, infants and children.
5.1.4 Toilet facilities shall include accessible cubicles, baby care facilities, wash basins, toilet paper, hand soap (soap bars), mirrors, hand dryers or paper towels, and disinfection and hygiene supplies (such as disinfectant wipes and alcohol gel).
5.1.5 Sightseeing platforms or dedicated sightseeing spaces shall be provided, and such spaces shall be free from visual obstructions.
5.1.6 Cultural and entertainment facilities such as multi-function halls, dance halls and chess/card rooms, as well as small shops (kiosks) and catering service areas, should be provided.
5.1.7 Mobile device charging services should be provided, and free wireless network coverage should be available.
5.1.8 Sightseeing ships providing night navigation services shall be equipped with night lighting equipment, external broadcast amplification equipment, and backup power generation equipment.
5.1.9 Life jackets shall be provided according to the certified passenger capacity of the sightseeing ship. The life jackets shall be aesthetically pleasing, clean and tidy, and placed within easy reach. Child life jackets shall be provided at 35% of the certified passenger capacity and shall be clearly marked with the words "Child Life Jacket" or equivalent.
5.1.10 All facilities and equipment shall be regularly maintained and serviced, used within their validity period, and kept safe and reliable.
5.1.11 Service facilities and equipment should be selected from energy-saving and environmentally friendly products and shall comply with national laws and regulations on energy conservation and environmental protection.
5.2 Ship Appearance
5.2.1 The ship's exterior appearance shall be harmonious with the navigational water environment, and exterior decoration shall incorporate local cultural elements.
5.2.2 The ship's name shall be clearly displayed. The ship's exterior shall be striking, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Guardrails, decks and walls shall have fresh and well-maintained finishes. Corridors, floors and steps shall be clean and free from standing water. Ground surfaces and steps shall have effective anti-slip measures. All facilities and equipment shall be intact, clean and properly stowed.
5.2.3 Glass surfaces or sharp edges on the ship shall be fitted with anti-collision warnings and anti-collision protection.
5.3 Cabin Environment
5.3.1 Cabins shall be aesthetically decorated and appropriately furnished, highlighting themes such as history, culture and festive celebrations.
5.3.2 Cabins shall be well-ventilated, with fresh and odour-free air. Indoor air quality shall comply with GB/T 18883. Cabins equipped with air conditioning and ventilation systems shall meet the requirements of WS 10013.
5.3.3 Cabins shall be equipped with temperature-controllable cooling and heating equipment. Temperature and humidity shall comply with GB/T 18883.
Note: When there is a significant temperature difference between indoor and outdoor environments, shading facilities such as curtains shall be installed and regularly cleaned to ensure passenger sightseeing comfort.
5.3.4 Vibration and noise reduction measures shall be taken to effectively control environmental noise during navigation.
5.4 Sanitary Environment of Service Premises
5.4.1 A hygiene management system and a hygiene epidemic prevention plan shall be established to ensure clear accountability.
5.4.2 Passenger cabins, public areas, cultural and entertainment venues (multi-function halls, dance halls), small shops (kiosks), and catering service areas (counters, restaurants, kitchens) shall be clean, tidy and hygienic, with fresh air.
5.4.3 Tableware, tea sets, towels and other supplies used by passengers in service premises shall be disinfected on a "one customer, one use, one disinfection" basis. Seat covers, curtains, carpets, etc., shall be cleaned and disinfected promptly.
5.4.4 Smoking shall be prohibited in passenger cabins, and conspicuous no-smoking signs shall be posted. Fixed smoking areas that meet fire safety requirements may be established on uncovered open decks.
