This standard specifies the workinging environment of railway track-laying machines,main operational performance,technical requirements,inspection and test method,check rules,signs,packaging,transportation,storage,service life,and overhaul,etc. This standard is applicable to the railway track-laying machines for track panels [hereinafter referred to as the track-laying machine(s)]used on the track with a standard gauge of 1 435 mm.For those of other track gauges,this standard may also be referred to.
