lighting set to illuminate a certain area for work under specific vision
3.3
normal lighting
indoor and outdoor lighting used under normal circumstances
3.4
emergency lighting
lighting enabled due to failure of power supply for normal lighting, including escape lighting and stand-by lighting
[Source: GB 50034-2013, 2.0.19, modified]
3.5
escape lighting
part of emergency lighting set to ensure that evacuation paths can be effectively identified and used, including evacuation path lighting and indication signs
3.6
stand-by lighting
part of emergency lighting set to maintain normal activities
3.7
transition lighting
lighting with successive levels of brightness set to reduce the excessive brightness difference between the inside and outside of buildings and structures
3.8
on-duty lighting
lighting set when people are on duty during non-working hours
3.9
average illuminance
average value of illuminance on a specified surface
3.10
