GB/T 15104-2021 Decorative veneered wood-based panel
1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, measurements and test methods, inspection rules, and identification, packaging, transportation and storage of decorative veneered wood-based panel.
This document is applicable to the uncoated processed decorative veneered wood-based panel made from natural veneer, colored veneer, laminated wood veneer or multilaminar veneer, which are used as the surface material and are bonded with wood-based panel as the base material.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 18259-2018 and the following apply. For the convenience of application, some terms and definitions specified in GB/T 18259-2018 are listed below.

decorative veneered wood-based panel
panel that made by applying natural veneer, colored veneer, laminated wood veneer or multilaminar veneer onto the surfaces of various wood-based panels

decorative veneer
veneer processed by means of slicing, peeling, semi-circular peeling or sawing, and used for surface decoration

colored veneer
colored thin wood
colored veneer that is made through processes such as bleaching and coloring

laminated wood veneer
laminated thin wood
veneer that made by gluing together planks or small sections according to the designed pattern, and then cutting and shaping the resulting wood blocks

multilaminar veneer
multilaminar thin wood
veneer that is mainly made of peeled or sliced veneer by forming a square timber through veneer coloring, lamination and gluing, and then by slicing, peeling or sawing

3.6
color difference
difference in color between the surface of decorative veneer and the target color or sample color, or the unevenness of overall color
Note: This does not include the color difference between the early and late wood of the wood itself and the natural color transition of the natural patterns.
3.7
type I decorative veneered wood-based panel
weather-resistant decorative veneered wood-based panel, which can be used in outdoor conditions and can pass the Class I immersion stripping test
3.8
type Ⅱ decorative veneered wood-based panel
water-resistant decorative veneered wood-based panel, which can be used in humid conditions and can pass the Class II immersion stripping test
3.9
type Ⅲ decorative veneered wood-based panel
non-water-resistant decorative veneered wood-based panel, which can only be used in dry conditions and can pass the Class III immersion stripping test
4 Classification
4.1 Classification by wood-based panel substrate:
a) Decorative veneered plywood;
b) Decorative veneered blockboard;
c) Decorative veneered particleboard;
d) Decorative veneered medium-density fiberboard;
e) Decorative veneered other wood-based panels.
4.2 Classification by decorative veneer type:
a) Natural veneer wood-based panel;
b) Colored veneer wood-based panel;
c) Laminated veneer wood-based panel;
d) Multilaminar veneer wood-based panel.
4.3 Classification by decorative surface:
a) Single-sided decorative veneered wood-based panel;
b) Double-sided decorative veneered wood-based panel.
4.4 Classification by water resistance performance:
a) Type I decorative veneered wood-based panel;
b) Type II decorative veneered wood-based panel;
c) Type III decorative veneered wood-based panel.
