4 Ordering information
When ordering according to this document, the contract should include the following information:
a)Standard number;
b)b) Alloy designation;
c)c) Melting method;
d)d) Delivery condition;
e)e) Dimensions and tolerance class;
f)f) Cut-to-length or multiple-length (if required);
g)g) Weight or piece count;

5 Manufacturing Process
5.1 Melting Method of Alloy
The melting method of the alloy shall comply with Table 1. Upon mutual agreement between the supplier and purchaser, other melting methods may be used provided they meet all requirements of this specification. The melting method adopted shall be specified in the contract and quality certificate.
Table 1 Melting Methods for Alloys
5.2 Manufacturing Method for Tubes
Tubes shall be manufactured using hot extrusion followed by cold drawing (or rolling) or hot piercing followed by cold drawing (or rolling).
5.3 Delivery Condition
5.3.1
Tubes shall be delivered in solution-treated and pickled or solution-treated under protective atmosphere. Upon mutual agreement between the supplier and purchaser, and as specified in the contract, they may also be delivered in cold-drawn or cold-rolled condition.
5.3.2
Recommended solution heat treatment parameters are provided in Table 2.
Table 2 Recommended Solution Heat Treatment Parameters
