1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, code, dimension, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of seamless stainless steel tubes for boiler and heat exchanger.
This standard is applicable to seamless stainless steel tubes for boiler and heat exchanger (hereinafter referred to as "steel tube").

3 Classification and Code
3.1 Steel tubes are classified into two categories according to the manufacturing methods, and the categories and designations are:
a) Hot-rolled (extruded) steel tube W-H;
b) Cold-drawn (rolled) steel tube W-C.
3.2 The following codes are applicable to this standard:
D - nominal outside diameter;
S - nominal wall thickness;
Smin - minimum wall thickness.
4 Order Contents
The contract or order for ordering steel tubes according to this standard shall include the following contents:
a) Standard number;
b) Product name;
c) Designation of steel;
d) Dimensions (outside diameter × wall thickness, in mm);
e) Ordered quantity (total weight, total length or number);
f) Manufacturing method;
