1 Scope
This document specifies the safety technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and other requirements for building decorative stones.
It applies to natural stone, synthetic stone, adhesives, and protective agents used in building decoration.

Stone products used for architectural, municipal, and decorative purposes.
Note: Includes natural and synthetic stone.
4 Safety Technical Requirements
4.1 Building Decorative Stone
4.1.1 Radioactive Nuclide Limits
Natural granite shall comply with the radioactive nuclide limits in Table 1.

4.1.2 Panel Thickness
Dry-mounted natural stone and synthetic stone (mirror-finished and fine-finished panels) shall comply with Table 2.
