1 Scope
This document specifies the types, materials, design, manufacturing, testing and inspection, marking, packaging, coating, storage and transport, design life, and factory documentation requirements for liquefied dimethyl ether steel cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "cylinders").
This document applies to welded steel cylinders used under normal ambient temperatures (-40℃ to 60℃), with a nominal working pressure of 1.6 MPa, a nominal volume not exceeding 150 L, and intended for repeated filling with liquefied dimethyl ether conforming to GB/T 25035.
2 Normative References
The following documents contain provisions that, through normative reference in this text, constitute essential provisions of this document. 3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 13005 and the following apply.
3.1
allowable filling weight
The maximum allowable weight of liquefied dimethyl ether that can be filled.
3.2
cylinder unique number for traceability
A unique and traceable product serial number for the cylinder.
4 Symbols
The symbols listed in Table 1 apply to this document.

5 Cylinder Types
5.1 Cylinder Model Designation Method
The cylinder model designation method is as follows:
Note: The modification serial number indicates changes in the structure, wall thickness, or weight of a specific cylinder model within the DME series. If no changes have been made, the modification serial number may be omitted.
Example 1: DME26.2/15.0 denotes a vapor phase cylinder with a nominal volume of 26.2 L and an allowable filling weight of liquefied dimethyl ether of 15.0 kg.
Example 2: DME26.2//15.0 denotes a vapor phase cylinder with a nominal volume of 26.2 L, an allowable filling weight of liquefied dimethyl ether of 15.0 kg, and is the first modification.
Example 3: DME87//49.5 denotes a liquid phase cylinder with a nominal volume of 87 L and an allowable filling weight of liquefied dimethyl ether of 49.5 kg.
5.2 Cylinder Models and Parameters
Cylinders shall be designed and manufactured according to the model specifications in Table 2. Cylinders of models DME87/49.5 and DME87/液/49.5 shall not be installed indoors within the buildings they serve. Cylinders of other models shall not be installed indoors in densely populated places.

5.3 Cylinder Structure Type
The structural type of the cylinder is shown in Figure 1, where the protective guard consists of three pieces.
6 Materials
6.1 General Requirements
6.1.1 The material for the main parts of the cylinder (referring to pressure-bearing components such as the shell, heads, etc.) shall have good ductility and weldability; and shall be accompanied by the original material quality certificate or an electronic QR code version of the material quality certificate.
6.1.2 The cylinder manufacturer shall perform verification analysis of the chemical composition for the main materials by heat or melt number, and verify the mechanical properties by batch number. Materials verified as qualified shall bear material identification marks.
